  • Pool Opening Update

    Published: June 12, 2020

We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. We have been in discussions daily with management, attorneys and insurance professionals. Unfortunately we do not feel like we can open the pool at this time. We are hopeful the pool can be opened soon. We do not take this decision lightly and will continue to evaluate when we can possibly open. Many factors are going into this decision. Safety of our residents is the most important. Costs associated with operating changes that currently must be made with CDC guidelines and the hiring of pool monitors do not make it cost effective to open the pool at this time. The Covid-19 situation is changing every day. We expect the occupancy limits and guidelines to change in the coming days. We will continue to make preparations to open the pool and will update the community when necessary.

Operators of public aquatic venues can consult with local officials to determine if and how to implement these considerations while adjusting them to meet the unique needs and circumstances of the local jurisdiction. Their implementation should also be informed by what is feasible, practical, and acceptable. Click Full Story for more information.
